Levent Bergkotte (B.Tr.) graduated from the School for Translators and Interpreters in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Aviation being his life-time passion, he held various positions in the aviation industry, including those of Handling Agent, Crew Training Co-ordinator and Operations Officer, working in the Netherlands and in Spain.

After several years of working in the industry and building up valuable experience, he decided to follow up on his other passion: writing. As a freelance writer, he has successfully built up a portfolio of published articles, most of which have aviation and/or travel as their subject.

As a photographer, most of his articles are accompanied by images taken by him. What once started as a pure hobby, his aviation photography has developed into a real passion, taking him all over the world to take pictures of aircraft, airports and related subjects.
